 I know you've all been dying to see the masterpiece we've been slaving away on for the past month or so. That's right! It's really only been about a month since we started working on our precious van. 

Remember? This is what she looked like after we got her. We cleaned her out, ripped out the floor and took out the bench seat that was bolted to the floor.

Going, Going... Almost Gone...

It's true that we finally began our road trip last night at an ungodly hour. It's also true that we didn't get very far...

Geoff took the wheel for the first few hours while I settled in making sure things were secure and the stereo and phones were communicating properly. Once the tunes were in order and the navigation was set for Six Flags - Discovery Kingdom I turned in for a bit of a snooze.

We had planned to drive through the night, taking shifts at the wheel, till we hit our destination. The universe had other plans though. Some very, VERY cruel plans...

And We're Off!!!

Well... after a few delays and set backs we FINALLY LEFT!

As of 12:45am on Tuesday, June 28th we're headed out on our grand adventure!!!

I'll post more in the morning with pics! For now we ride South!!

We Do Like a Challenge!

Don't worry we haven't forgotten about you all!! We've been a bit busy! We'll get into the habit and flow of writing once we're on the road. Promise!

We've been getting lots of questions lately. The questions we've been asked the most during this project is "How do you guys know how to do all this?" and "Where did you learn to do all that?" The answer isn't a simple one, but isn't isn't difficult either...
